The National Unity Government (NUG) on March 4 issued a statement urging the People’s Defense Forces to adhere to six principles, including not recruiting minors.

The NUG statement also called for the prevention of six types of violence against children under the age of 18 and for protection in the event of a violation.
According to the policy issued by NUG, only those over 18 years of age should be recruited. If children under the age of 18 are in camps, follow the instructions.
