AA captured military council military camp in Maungdaw
Rakhine Army (AA) has continued to capture another military camp in Maungdaw Township, Rakhine State on September 22, 2022, said Statement.
The situation of AA captured the military camp on hill is on a military council army LIBs 352 battalion camp on Gopi Kyaw Road (Paruon Daung), about three kilometers southeast of Long Dom (Myo) Village (b) Garik Chao Village.
“When the Military Council forces are expanding its manpower and heavily attacking with air strikes and heavy artillery. Today, September 10, 2022, at about 6:17 am, in Maungdaw Township, a place far from mile post (40), Laung Don (Myo) Village or Gate Chaung Village. Military council troops LIBs 352 battalion camp was attacked to a camp hill at Gotpi Kyaw Road (Pa Yun Taung), about three kilometers southeast, the camp hill was successful captured at 7:22 am,” the statement said.

AA Statement
Myanmar Light Newspaper announced on September 1 that the military council forces are trying to cover the camp which was completely captured near Rakhine-Bangladesh border, Mile post. (40) by AA on August 31.
“The Military Council Army announced that it is trying to retake its camp and expanded its military forces and intensified air strikes and heavy artillery around the camp as well as other places in Rakhine and Paletwa over a week.”

In addition, the statement stated that during the battle, many military council soldiers were killed and many weapons were seized and some military council soldiers were also arrested.
It is said that after capturing the military base, they attacked near the base with helicopters and jet planes all day.
Currently, military council army and Rakhine army (AA) are fighting fiercely in Rakhine state.
