“In order to solve the current problems of the people of Rakhine and an informal agreement on humanitarian aid. Whether it will last for a long time or not, depend to the part of bilateral compliance. This is negotiated through intermediaries.”

The Rakhine Army – AA has called off the ceasefire, but, AA’s revolutionary path and political goals will not be lost, and will be watching the military council troops actually comply or not, said U Khaing Thukha.

Major General Zaw Min Tun, the spokesman of the military council, also answered some foreign news outlets that the ceasefire with the AA was correct.

General Zaw Min Tun was contacted by Media outlets several times, but he did not answer the phone.

The ULA/AA could no longer watch the crisis and cry, the hardships of the Rakhine people, so AA may have called off the ceasefire, according to U Fe Than, a former member of the People’s Hluttaw of Myebon Township.

“At the moment, ULA/AA has considered the voices of the people, and I feel that ULA/AA has given priority to the voices of those who are in trouble and crying.”

U Pe Than also said that the cease-fire has given the Military Council a breather, which is under military pressure.

U U Hla Saw, a member of the Rakhine National Party’s Policy Steering Committee, said that it is good to make military and political decisions only after solving the problems of the people.

“The people are not fighting face-to-face.The fact that don’t fight at the moment is a welcome issue from a religious point of view or a social point of view. If the political problems are resolved later, fight again later. The people of Rakhine will be happy. If the restrictions and restrictions are opened, the people will a little breathe and easier.”

As the military council, which is fighting on a nationwide scale, a ceasefire with the AA may result in military escalation to other areas, said U Pe Than, former member of the People’s Hluttaw of Myebon Township.

Mr. Sasakawa, the Japanese government’s special representative for national reconciliation, is in Myanmar and there are reports that he is mediating between the Rakhine Army and the Military Council Army, but it has not been confirmed yet.

In Rakhine State, the military council army and the Rakhine Army (AA) have been fighting again for more than four months now, and during four months, 33 local people have been killed and 79 injured.
